Went to a small lake today....vp....under estimated the wind...rough day out there...between battling the wind drift in a kayak, and trying to cast a fly in 30mph winds....mother nature won....1 pickerel was landed.....went from there to a local trout stream...faired well there...landed 4 nice brookies......

on the way home hit a favorite panfish lake and got some gills.....today I decided to sell my 14 ft. Freedom Hawk.....I need to downsize...anyone interested should contact me....

  1. Nice gills and trout. What did you get the trout to take? Were the gills hittng a popper? I have been using a black gnat letting it sink about 12" down.
