35 degrees this morning...frost on the ground...it is that time....I went fishing anyway.....I caught the largest fall fish I have ever caught....2 smallies landed...1 monster smallie that actually for the first time ever broke a hook on me....bouncing crayfish patterns off the bottom real slow...caught them all in about 4 feet of water....took a picture of a carcass of some sort....hanging by the stream....

That is one awesome samllmouth---had to be a blast on the fly. I wish we could get some of that cool weather down south--today high was 98. Great Post.

  5. Bass on a fly rod, no that sounds fun. Great pics also. Can't tell what that carcass is. Shame about the hog getting away.

  7. Pat,

Been meaning to ask who makes your rod and reel? I have been looking for a new one and I remember looking at ours in a store but cant remember who makes it or a damn thing about it.
