  1. thanks dude....I don't think I can make it...I wish I could...It's 4 1/2 hours from me, and I have to work until 10 pm Saturday night....We will all fish together at some point....I have a fly I want to send you to try out....It's a top water that's killer down here....It's on here..The Basszilla....I got some bullshit ctiticism about it on another forum, saying it wouldn't work blah blah...I've got tons of pictures with this thing hanging out of the mouths of fish..A few others have used it with great success as well...I'm curious to see what you think....I need to make some more..So in a few days I'll let you know....I'll send it out to you...

  2. Pat unbelievable ties on these streamers, what size are these and what would be the size to use on the tailrace that I fish in Tennesee? I also fish Smith Lake my home lake just 15 minutes from my house and it has some world record spots in it. What size should I use there? You have got to be one the best at fly tying on this blog circuit.

  3. Bill....The front hook is a 1/0...the trailer is an octopus size 4.....overall length is about 3 1/2 inches....Thank you very much for the compliment...I try to create flies that work artistically and catch fish.....As a general rule of thumb....bigger flies catch bigger fish....Find out what the forage base is in those bodies of water and then you can figure out what to use to catch the predators...My flies get bigger as the season progresses...The minnow base and crayfish base grow in size....My flies are smaller in the spring time....Let me know what is being eaten in your waters and I'll see if I can come up with something for you...
