1-5-11...Top water crank

This an idea that I have been playing with for a bit...A top water deer hair bug with a fly lipp, trimmed down in the shape of a crank bait, with an articulated red tail....Oh yes....The bass are going to kill this....

    Now the hardware fishermen really have nothing over a fly rodder. I wonder, how deep it will run? And can you make a deep runner, or would you just use a sinking line?

    I could use a sink line with these...but I have a version that sinks not made of deer hair....I'll put some up in a week or two...
